I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and is staying warm as we go through the winter. Our next meeting is a training; "Boston Healthy Homes. A focus on safe learning environments with a focus on asthma and lead poisoning". 7-9 p.m. Feb 12th at Cunningham Hall in Milton. Please RSVP if you plan to attend the meeting by Sunday, Feb 10th. RSVP to Ruth. You can email her or give her a quick call. Her contact info is at the top of the newsletter. We are going to ask members to RSVP if they plan to attend meetings from now on. It will help us give the speaker an idea of how many will be in attendance, and will helps us plan out how many printouts we will need. Thank you for your cooperation!!

We had our annual CPR renewal last month. THANK YOU to Janet Malone for organizing this for us each year, she does such a great job!!.
We have two more training's coming up! For our March meeting we will have Catherine Begin speak with the topic: "Strengthening families; talking to parents, dealing with difficult issues" She will talk about strategies for providers with a focus on communication. And in April we will have Maria Trozzi speak with the topic "Good Grief". **Please note this meeting will NOT take place at Cunningham Hall, but will be moved, location TBD. There will be a donation basket at this training for monetary donations to DOVE.
Make sure to have our webpage bookmarked. Our schedule along with the registration form is available on the website so you can print them out as needed. It's always just a click away if you forget any meeting dates, or if you feel you are not receiving the newsletters.
Sunshine news: We have all been wishing Pat Gaibl a quick recovery from her knee surgery! Do you know of any sunshine news/person who should have a special mention? Please contact Nancy Smith at 617-696-1158.

MAFCCA is a group of licensed professionals who care for infants to school age children in their homes in
The Milton, Quincy, Dorchester, Braintree and Randolph areas. We provide four to five workshops each year as well as a conference tailored specifically to the family child care professional’s needs. We have regular social functions, outreach to the community and a referral service to help members keep their daycares full. But, the most important thing we offer our members is support, at out monthly meetings and also through mentorin
